PA CHEP’s 2024 Annual Meeting Recap

The 2024 PA CHEP Annual Meeting, held on November 15 at the Pennsylvania College of Technology, brought together a vibrant community of educators, advocates, and reentry professionals. Highlights included an inspiring keynote address by Romarilyn Ralston and a powerful series of panels featuring reentrants discussing issues central to formerly incarcerated individuals. The event also honored Irvin Moore for his remarkable contributions to advancing higher education in prison. Thank you to all who attended and contributed to this meaningful gathering!

Share Your Memories with Us

Help us capture the spirit of the Annual Meeting! PA CHEP is building a retrospective page on its website to showcase photos, videos, and moments from the event. If you took photos or videos you’d like to share, please send them to Alex Maco, Program Coordinator, at alex.maco@villanova.edu. PA CHEP will attribute all shared media to its creators.

This retrospective will also include links to event videos, allowing everyone to reflect on the powerful discussions and ideas shared throughout the day.

Watch Event Recordings

The Annual Meeting featured a rich lineup of concurrent sessions, so no one could experience everything firsthand. Fortunately, recordings of several sessions are now available for viewing, thanks to Penn College’s generous support:

The playlist currently features:

  • Several morning sessions

  • The series of reentrant panels from the afternoon

  • The keynote address by Romarilyn Ralston

Additional videos will be uploaded in the coming weeks, so be sure to check back for updates!
